AI assistants that give clinics more time for patients
HighTech Works builds Claude-powered assistants that answer patient questions, book appointments, prepare doctors for consultations and follow up on aftercare, with clinicians in control at every step.
Practical AI for the everyday work of a clinic
We focus on the repetitive conversations and paperwork that take up front-desk and doctor time, and hand anything clinical back to the care team.
Patient enquiry & appointment assistant
Answers common questions about treatments, timings and location on WhatsApp and the clinic website, and collects appointment requests for staff to confirm.
Pre-consultation intake & summaries
Guides patients through a structured intake before their visit and turns it into a concise summary, so the doctor walks in already knowing the concern and history.
Aftercare instructions & follow-ups
Sends doctor-approved post-treatment care instructions, reminds patients about follow-up visits and flags questions or concerns to the clinic team.
Multilingual patient FAQs
Answers clinic-approved FAQs in the languages patients actually use, such as English, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, grounded in the clinic's own information.
Admin help for staff
Drafts notes, patient messages, reminders and routine documents for staff to review and send, cutting down time spent on repetitive writing.
Smooth handoff to humans
Anything clinical, urgent or uncertain goes straight to clinic staff with the conversation context attached, so patients never get stuck with a bot.
Powered by Anthropic's Claude
Our assistants run on Claude, accessed through Anthropic's API. We chose Claude for its careful, reliable instruction-following, strong writing across languages and its focus on safety, which matter a lot when talking to patients.
Each clinic gets an assistant set up with its own services, timings, policies and doctor-approved content, so answers stay specific to that clinic and within clear limits.
- 1
Grounded in clinic knowledge
Claude answers from the clinic's own approved information, such as treatments, timings, location and aftercare guides, not from guesswork.
- 2
Clear guardrails
System instructions keep the assistant to non-diagnostic help and tell it when to step back and hand over to staff.
- 3
Structured outputs
Claude turns free-text conversations into tidy appointment requests and intake summaries that fit straight into clinic workflows.
- 4
Human review where it matters
Clinical content, summaries and outgoing staff messages are reviewed by the care team before they're used.
Piloting with Skin Summit, Bangalore
Skin Summit is a dermatology clinic in Rajajinagar, Bangalore, led by Founder and Chief Dermatologist Dr. Shruthi Madhavi G. It offers skin, hair and laser treatments. We're working with the clinic as our first pilot partner, building and refining our assistants around the real needs of a busy dermatology practice.

Assistive, never a replacement for doctors
Healthcare needs extra care. These principles guide everything we build.
Not diagnostic
Our assistants don't diagnose, prescribe or give individual medical advice. They support the clinic's existing care.
Doctors in the loop
Clinicians approve clinical content and review summaries. Urgent or medical questions go straight to the care team.
Careful with data
We collect only what's needed, limit who can access it and treat patient information as confidential.
Transparent
Patients are told when they're talking to an AI assistant and can always ask to reach a person.
